What is the Brave Smile Guide?
Helena's Brave Smile Guide is a youth-led initiative aimed at helping cancer patients understand and manage their treatment's side-effects. Born from my personal experience, the guide provides pratical, evidence-informed resources to help prevent, relieve, and respond to oral mucositis, while making medical information clearer, kinder, and less frightening.
